Story from QA Engineer to Senior Manager – Quality Assurance

The 13-year Journey with SPAN from an Engineer to Senior Manager – Quality Assurance Andros Vijay has embarked on a visionary Journey. He is one of the key persons at SPAN playing a critical role in upholding the Quality metrics for a line of Products. More than just titles and timelines, Andros embodies the true spirit of SPAN.

He joined to be part of a 10-member team as QA Engineer, and today, with SPAN, he has grown to Senior Manager – Quality Assurance, handling a team of 60 members. We have grown to a Great Team with 500+ Employees in Total. His own growth mirrors the Company’s rise.

Story of Andros Vijay at SPAN – A 13-year Journey of Growth

“I began my career at Span Technology Services as a QA Engineer in 2012, when our Coimbatore team had just 10 members with a modest space with big dreams. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to work on more than 10 projects, many of which were critical and high-impact.

As Span Technology expanded from a small office on the ground floor to a multi-level software company, my role also grew. I took on key responsibilities such as ensuring the quality and stability of high-priority projects, leading automation and process improvements, working closely with cross-functional teams to enhance software delivery, mentoring new team members, and defining QA strategies.

From being part of a small 10-member team to leading QA in a growing company, my journey at Span Technology Services has been filled with a challenging atmosphere with learning and growth. Starting in 2014 as a Trainee to a Tech leader in 2025,  he took on bigger challenges, honed his skills and fostered innovation. He set out with Curiosity and Determination, transforming his career and also the Technological Growth at SPAN. From writing codes to driving Technical Strategies, his story is a testament to how Passion, perseverance, and the right environment can fuel incredible growth. Prasanth joined SPAN as a fresher in 2014. Over a decade in SPAN, his valuable skill set has been benefiting SPAN relentlessly in Programming, Analysis, and Problem Solving, and R&D, and he has acquired a key position as Assistant VP – Technology and Engineering.

Govind joined SPAN Technology Services as a SEO Analyst – what started as a Junior role soon turned into an incredible journey of Growth, Learning, and transformation.

Over the past 8 years, Govind climbed the ranks, moving through multiple roles in Marketing, expanded into Operations, Business Strategy, and now leads as Assistant Vice President – Operations, proving that SPAN is a place where Talent is nurtured and Opportunities are endless. 

Starting from learning, experimenting, and adapting to the digital landscape to diving deep into data-driven strategies. He has honed his analytical skills and gained a broader perspective on digital Growth.

From driving impactful marketing strategies aligned with business Goals. Stepping into Operations in 2024, Govind expanded his expertise beyond Marketing, handling Process Optimizations, Cross-functional collaborations, and business growth Initiatives.
