Our Team at SPAN Technology Services recently had the privilege of attending a NASSCOM session “ The Leadership Edge for Mid Managers “ focused on “The A-Game of Leadership,” the core theme resonating deeply was Agility. This session highlighted how agility isn’t just a buzzword; it’s the bedrock of effective leadership in the digital age.

The session kicked off with a compelling speaker named Priya, who painted a vivid picture of how a Leader should PIVOT – EVOLVE – LEARN – LEAD . This wasn’t just a catchy acronym; it was a roadmap for cultivating the essential agility needed to thrive. The session emphasized how we can navigate the chaos, adapt quickly, and empower our teams to do the same.

PIVOT: The Art of Strategic Adjustment

The session emphasized that “pivoting” isn’t about haphazardly changing direction. It’s about strategically adjusting based on real-time data, market shifts, and evolving customer needs. It’s about:

  • Staying Observant: Leaders must be acutely aware of their surroundings, monitoring industry trends, competitor activities, and internal performance metrics.
